SAP Coordinator

We have a job opening for the position of SAP Coordinator be based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. This is a 1 year Contract (renewable based on performance) position.

To be responsible for the day-to-day operation activities related to the Incident, Problem and Change management processes.

Key Tasks:

1) Monitor related tickets (Incident, Problem and related Change or Enhancements) and ensure they are acted upon promptly - e.g. following up on long outstanding tickets, tickets involve multiple parties as needed.
2) Act as the interface between GF IT BAM SAP Delivery teams and other teams such as the Service Desks and the Process Assurance team.
3) Maintain configuration data in ITSM toolkit (SC, AC, etc,) such as assignment groups and approval rules, as well as the Vertical Support entries for the related service
4) Support Situation Managers during a situation and ensure all communication and procedures are followed
5) Prepare and chair the operational meetings with the Delivery team leads such as the Incident and Problem Review meeting and ensure actions are stored in the standard GLL and provide management information on the business values achieved out of the process. Monitor, track and report progress on the resolution of known errors, document the solution in the knowledge base and report the number of problems permanently solved
6) Coordinate High & Urgent related tickets and ensure proper support and communication is provided
7) Provide Training on the Processes for new joiners in GF IT BAM SAP Delivery team
8) Provide advise and support to GF IT BAM SAP staff regarding queries on the process / tool
9) Work with the Transition to Support coordinator for countries rollout or new services coming aboard especially in the area of Processes and Tools
10) Maintain current documentation and training materials and ensure they are kept up to date
11) Perform Process Audit activities to ensure Process Compliance.
12) Perform analysis on Process Audit reports and drive improvement initiatives to ensure compliance and continuous improvements.
13) Perform Trend analysis on KPI reports and drive improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvements.

Hours: 9:00am to 6:00pm

Education: Graduate education level with a background in IT

Experience and Qualifications required:

At least 3 years related working experience in IT Service Management
Certified in ITIL Foundation is compulsory, certified in ITIL Practitioner in Service Support Processes is desirable (Incident/ Problem/ Change)
Sound understanding of SAP system is desirable.
Good working knowledge of Service Center and its implementation in Shell is desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important.
